A large village house for rent. "LeMidi" is situated in the typical Minervois village of Marseillette on the Canal du Midi( a UNESCO world heritage site). This 3 bedroom house accommodates 8 people. Adjoining "Le Midi" is a newly converted 3 bedroom house that accommodates 5 people. The houses can be rented separately or as a single property that will accommodate larger groups - up to 14. It is the ideal holiday property from which to explore the Languedoc region in the South of France. This area is famed for it's wine, it's medieval castles, and tales of medieval knights.

Marseillette is only 15 minutes from the famous Medieval walled City of Carcassonne,( an absolute must see), and just 40 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches. The Spanish border can be reached in less than 2 hours.

"Le Midi" ( the main house) has been completely renovated throughout, with a spacious open plan living area on the ground floor; 2 large bedrooms on the first floor with a private enclosed courtyard to the rear. From this courtyard there are steps leading to the shared pool area. On the 2nd floor there is a large attic bedroom with sleeping accommodation and a pool table.

From here you can also access the sunny south facing roof terrace which enjoys stunning views over the village rooftops down to the Aude valley.

The adjoining house has been completely refurbished to provide very comfortable accommodation for 5 people.

This beautiful area in the South of France has so much to offer, and with 300 days sunshine a year is a great location for a holiday.
